A mobile client for Open Local Weather — the same multi-model synthesis, with the same published accuracy record.

Ensemble is a paid client for an open-source project, and that split is deliberate. The forecasting logic stays public: anyone can read it, audit its accuracy claims, fork it, or run it themselves for free. The app is a packaged experience on top of that, not a gate in front of it.

Shared forecasting logic changes in the open repository first, and both implementations are held to identical output. If the app and the published site ever disagreed about the same weather, someone comparing them would have no way to tell which was right — so that is the one failure the project is built to prevent.
